A nursing risk list of pediatric wards was constructed based on root cause analysis
Abstract
Objective To construct a risk list of pediatric ward nursing based on root cause analysis. Methods The root cause analysis method was used to analyze the nursing adverse events in pediatrics of our hospital from 2016 to 2020, to find out the root cause, and to make the first draft of the risk list of pediatric nursing according to the root cause. Delphi method was used for two rounds of an expert consultation. Results The risk list of pediatric ward nursing included 7 risk points,2 risk levels, 22 risk phenomena,50 screening items, and the frequency of screening was determined. Conclusion The risk list of nursing in the pediatric wards is scientific Practical and operational to provide guidance for nursing risk prevention in pediatric wards.
