Healthcare has become more complex as a result of the expanding elderly population and the burden of chronic disease, and the need for more efficient administration of specialty drugs across the healthcare interface is critical. Pharmacists' roles in health care have shifted towards patient-centered treatment. Pharmacy practice-based research is critical to the improvement of practice. Pharmacists recognize the importance of research in developing pharmacy practice and express a readiness to participate in independent research. The most significant barriers to engagement in practice research were recognized as a lack of time, training, and support. These findings have significant implications for encouraging research capacity building through research network development.

The decision is based on the process's economic feasibility and fits the specific situation. This paper examines the methods of Infusion, Digestion, Maceration, Decoction, Percolation, Hot Continuous Extraction (Soxhlet), Aqueous Alcoholic Extraction by Fermentation, Counter-current Extraction, Ultrasound Extraction (Sonication), Supercritical Fluid Extraction involved in the synthesis of therapeutic plant extracts and essential oils.
